LA2050 is a community-owned mechanism to create a shared vision of success for Los Angeles in 2050 and to track progress toward that vision. Spearheaded by the Goldhirsh Foundation, LA2050 has looked at the health of the region along well-defined indicators, and made informed projections about where we'll be in the year 2050 if we continue on this current path.

The Institute's vision is to create healthy, connected communities that support active living and that advance opportunities for all people through walkable streets, livable cities and better built environments.

Wellesley Institute works in research and policy to improve health and health equity in the GTA through action on the social determinants of health. Vision: A healthier and more equitable Greater Toronto Area for all. Mission: Advance population health and reduce health inequities by driving change on the so­cial determinants of health through applied research, effective policy solutions, knowledge mobilization, and innovation.
